Results of Research of Pedagogical Means of Prevention and Correction of Addiction of Gifted Adolescents from the Virtual Environment

The article presents the results of a study of pedagogical tools of prevention and correction of addiction
of gifted adolescents to the virtual environment. For comparison, the results of world research on this issue
are presented. Pedagogical means of prevention and correction of gifted adolescents' addiction to virtual
environment are described, as well as examples of using elements of art therapy in the work of a teacher as an
example of effective prevention and correction of addiction. The article presents the characteristics of gifted
adolescents and their peers. The article presents the results of work on prevention and correction of addiction
with the help of pedagogical tools. One of the tools that teacher can use in his work is a certain constructive
activity aimed at the real world. Work is an important basis for preventing gifted adolescents from becoming
dependent on the virtual environment.
The results of our study confirm the findings of foreign researchers about the best results of gifted
adolescents on the factors that protect manifestation of dependence on the virtual environment. In addition, we
have found that almost all the gifted are responsible persons, and responsibility is the opposite of infantilism,
which in turn is a form of any dependence. Gifted teenagers, as we saw in our study, are involved in constructive
activities in real life, creative work, research projects, interesting hobbies. It should be noted that involving gifted adolescents in additional classes, we used such pedagogical means
of prevention and correction of addiction as work, cognition, learning, play, communication and elements of art
therapy. After classes using the above pedagogical tools for prevention and correction of addiction to the virtual
environment, we managed to reduce the level of dependence of gifted adolescents, children have an interest in
learning, cognition, creative work, and therefore our pedagogical tools for prevention and correction of gifted
addiction. adolescents from the virtual environment proved effective. Gifted teenagers, as we saw in our study,
are engaged in constructive activities in real life, creative work, research projects, interesting hobbies.
Thus, the involvement of a gifted adolescent in creative work or constructive activities, the presence of
hobbies, interests in real life prevents the emergence of dependence on the virtual environment.
