Experimentation as a Means of Cognitive and Speech Development of Children during the Application of Group Forms of Work

Modern living and human conditions in Ukraine are characterized by changes in the economy, social
situations and education, which aims to form a new type of person ready to live in the information society, solve
unusual situations, respond to rapid technological progress. The country puts forward new requirements for the development of personality, in particular its intellectual sphere, the formation of initiative, the ability to make
independent decisions, to adapt quickly to different conditions. That is why there is a need for creative, active,
gifted, intellectually and spiritually developed citizens. The article substantiates the relevance and importance
of the use of experimental activities and group forms of work for cognitive and speech development of preschool children. Types of children's experimentation and signs of group activity of preschoolers are characterized. The peculiarities of the use of group forms of work during experimentation in order to develop cognitive and speech development of children are studied. It is shown that the use of group forms of work during experimentation helps to increase interest and interest in the surrounding reality, has a positive effect on the speech level of development of preschool children. The article presents examples of experiments and experiments that can be conducted with children using group forms of work. Cognitive and speech development - is a necessary condition for the successful development of the child's personality, the development of cognitive interest, education of the need for a holistic perception of the world, the development of mental abilities, sensory education. The use of group forms of work when experimenting with preschoolers gives the opportunity to communicate and find common solutions to problems; master the skills of mutual support; practically apply the acquired knowledge; children learn to work together and listen to each other's opinions.
