Study of the Application of the Theory of Solution of Engineering Inventive Problems in the Design and Training of Employees by the Samsung Company

Abstract

TRIVZ has become widely used in the world's leading companies over the past half century. In the USA, the Intel and General Electric corporations introduced the mandatory application of TRIVZ in production activities, annual conferences are held, company magazines are published. Her heuristic achievements were applied in politics, in particular, the method of paradoxes – during the election campaign in one of the towns, and in Israel, a similar methodology was developed for the development of organizational systems. In recent years, the use of TRIVZ has deepened and spread in to the whole world and the government of Colombia, after
learning about Samsung's experience, allocated a grant in the amount of 1 million 200 thousand dollars for the training of its businessmen. In South Korea, when foreign specialists from TRIVZ are hired to work in small and medium-sized companies, the state reimburses the company from 50 to 90 % of the costs of paying for the services of such a specialist. Samsung has created a site for three-level training of employees and students. The acquired experience was first distributed in their own country, and later throughout the world, in particular for teaching high school students. However, this experience has not yet been adopted by Ukraine. And it is of great importance for the involvement of high school students in inventive activities, and in particular for creation pioneering inventions. The well-known Ukrainian expert from TRIVZ E.H. Golibardov (under the pseudonym Eugeniusz Golibard) dedicated the book to the importance of TRIVZ and its methodological tools for successful inventive and business activities. But he did not provide examples of solving interesting inventive problems with their help. Therefore, the task of this research is primarily to find such problems and their solutions that would interest high school students and encourage them to be inventive. Examples are also needed for this ensuring the prosperity of companies through invention and examples of advanced training methods in this area. The author of many inventions created with their participation chose for demonstration the one that not only allowed to solve a difficult problem, but also became the beginning of a new phase of TRIVZ application at Samsung, the organization of TRIVZ application in which is a model for the whole world. The three-level system of training the company's specialists was also considered in order to master TRIVZ and transfer it to educational institutions, in particular to companies and schools of many countries. Conclusions were made regarding the similarity of this system to the system developed by Ukrainian specialists. Recommendations are given on the joint use of foreign and domestic experience.
