Abstract

The development of society, as well as innovative education, largely depends on the skills and abilities of a gifted young person, and above all on the conditions and opportunities to optimally use, develop and improve them throughout life.

The criteria for the selection of educational material for the development of technical skills are a set of approaches on which appropriate tasks and exercises are built, the content of which is related to the preparation of gifted students for scientific and research activities.

The article examines the principles of grouping educational material according to the appropriate criteria for the development of technical skills for working with literature, the possession of which ensures the preparation of students for scientific activity, characterizes the content of technical skills of students of scientific lyceums, which should be implemented within the framework of the Standard for specialized education in scientific direction.

The connection between the content, actions, and the result of mastering the technical skills of working with literature is established, the main approaches to the classification of criteria for the selection of tasks and exercises for the formation of technical skills of working with literature are highlighted. The division into appropriate groups of technical skills is proposed, by which we understand a set of activities, the content
of which contributes to the formation of the skills of working with literature of students who are inclined to
scientific activity.

Six directions of the proposed criteria for the selection of educational and training tasks and exercises for the formation of technical skills of education seekers are distinguished: motivational-targeted, search-
prognostic, informational-content, operational-active, diagnostic-corrective and result-reflective, each of which is detailed with the content of actions , focused on the formation of skills in working with literature.
