The study investigates the psychological and pedagogical foundations for the development of children with high intellectual and creative potential in the contemporary educational space. It analyzes scientific approaches to the phenomenon of giftedness, identifies the characteristics of cognitive and personal development of such students, and examines the factors that influence the realization of their abilities. The paper substantiates the pedagogical conditions for effective support of students’ intellectual and creative potential, including individualized learning, the use of research-based methods, and the creation of a stimulating educational environment.
Special attention is given to the role of the teacher as a key facilitator of psychological and pedagogical support, ensuring favorable conditions for self-realization and personal growth. The study emphasizes that the development of gifted students requires an integrated approach that combines cognitive stimulation, creative activity, emotional support, and social interaction. It also highlights the importance of motivating learners, fostering autonomy in knowledge acquisition, and providing opportunities for project-based and research-oriented activities.
By analyzing both theoretical frameworks and practical approaches, the research demonstrates that a supportive and well-structured educational environment is essential for nurturing intellectual and creative abilities. The findings provide valuable insights for educators, school administrators, and policymakers who aim to implement effective strategies for developing gifted students within modern educational systems.
