Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the dialectical concept of the relationship in the dilogy “genius-madness” from philosophical, psychological, neurophysiological points of view. Interdisciplinary and intercultural approaches, which are used in theoretical research, allow to integrate the research direction that takes into account the dynamics of the development of the inorganic, biological and social worlds.

The problem under study was an attempt to combine ideas about animate and inanimate nature (human brain activity – artificial intelligence), social life and technology (social consciousness – digitization of qualia). The goal of global evolutionism is the integration of natural, socio-humanitarian and technical knowledge.

The purpose of the study is to understand the philosophy of genius from the viewpoints of different cultures in different historical eras, to clarify the main scientific concepts and definitions, to generalize philosophical views in the conceptualization of the understanding of consciousness, intelligence, and the dilogy “genius-madnes”. It can be said that in the XIX Century, the discovery of the pathological dimension of the psyche of great people was a kind of reflection of the global trend towards the democratization of social life.

“Homo genius”, is revealed in the creative act as a discoverer of meanings and universal ideas, as a reproducer of spiritual values and an observer of the truth of things, as a true creator. Genius is associated with intellectual abilities and creative productivity. Creativity is one of the highest, if not the highest, properties of the brain.

One of the most important functions of the human brain is consciousness. Consciousness became a subject of science literally in the last decade, before that it was only philosophized about. To see something by mentally that did not exist before in an altered state of consciousness can be recognized as a “phenomenon of enlightenment”. There are two hypotheses about this. The first: at the moment of enlightenment, the brain works as a perfect receiver. But then you must admit that the information came from outside – from outer space or from the fourth dimension, but this has not yet been scientifically proven. And we can say that the brain created ideal conditions for itself and “enlightened”.

The doctrine of “enlightenment” (ishrak) in the Middle Ages was initiated by Shihabuddin Suhrawardi, he developed the doctrine of intuitive knowledge of the Sufis. One of the most difficult problems in philosophy and biology is the subjectivity of sensory experience. Any experience unavailable to anyone except the subject who perceives it is a qualia. It can be said more simply that qualia is information that cannot be copied, digitized and transmitted due to the lack of relevant sensory experience. Solving the problem of qualia will bring humanity closer to the creation of a full-fledged artificial intelligence, it can bring us closer to the era of machines which can have feelings. We stand on the threshold of global evolutionism, which claims to create a new type of holistic
knowledge about reality.
