The article considers the polyphony of a society in which a person is constantly exposed to negative influences caused by the stress and troubles of life, which is reflected in human health. Therefore, the authors try
to answer the question: how to use a positive psycho-emotional state of a person to palliative influence on his
health in conditions of the constant stress? Ways to overcome these threats are a range of means from kisses,
hugs to smiles. One kiss of the human body releases a soothing dose of hormones that exceeds the minimum
dose of morphine. Also, kissing releases adrenaline, which provides a person with joyful activity and “attack”
on the stress hormone – cortisol. Hugs have a positive effect on health due to the fact that our body contains
many receptors, the stimulation of which helps to slow down the heart rate and reduce the blood pressure. In
addition, physical touch has the ability to affect the release of stress hormone cortisol. If we speak about the
stresses associated with external life situations, then a special health hazard is the hormone cortisol. During
stress, it brings our body to “combat readiness” – this way our body responds to danger. A smile affects a
person's physical health which becomes stronger, increases his productivity and creativity. People, who smile,
recover faster from stressful situations, they can cope with stress faster. Authors came to the conclusion that a
person has this powerful arsenal which is given to him by nature, plays the role of an anti-stress means and its
task – to preserve it and use it to improve the quality of life.
